EXCELLENT Based on 848 reviews Posted on Google Mitra MirzaeiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went to Ricah on Sunday for lunch with a group of friends. I had booked two weeks prior and even made the extra effort to call again last week to reconfirm the booking, yet when we arrived, the staff seemed confused about what was going on. Instead of a warm welcome, I was met with anxiety and disorganisation. There were 14 of us seated upstairs, and it took ages to get the attention of any staff member. Every interaction made me feel like an inconvenience. The male staff member kept rushing off saying “we’re busy,” while the female staff member seemed sour and uninterested in being there. I completely understand restaurants get busy and staff can feel pressure, but if you know you’ll be busy, more staff should be rostered on. As all my friends are English speaking, I was ordering on behalf of the table. All of them have been to Persian restaurants before, so when dishes arrived incorrectly, some missing tahdig, and portions weren’t right, they immediately noticed. When I mentioned it to the staff member, again the response was simply, “we’re busy.” After a while, that excuse just became redundant. We also ordered tea, and it was served plain with nothing on the side. Usually Persian tea is accompanied with nabat or dates, which even my friends expected. When I asked about it, I was told they had no nabat and that dates would be brought instead. The dates that arrived were poorly presented and honestly looked unappetising. To make matters worse, the rice was cold, several dishes were missing tahdig, and the jooje was dry and lacked flavour or marinade. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience, especially considering some of my friends had travelled from out of area hoping for a good Persian dining experience. Even they commented on how underwhelming the food was. It’s honestly sad because this restaurant used to be one of our regular spots over the past few years. Sadly, after this experience, we definitely won’t be returning. Since then, I’ve spoken to quite a few others who have shared similar feedback, which makes it even more disappointing to see how much things have changed.Posted on Google Omid KhajehTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great flavour, juicy, well seasoned, and consistently delicious. The food is the main reason we keep coming back. Unfortunately, the service and reservation management really need improvement. The waitress seems to rely entirely on memory instead of writing orders down. She repeats the order back confidently, but somehow parts of the order still come out wrong almost every visit. It has become a recurring issue rather than a one off mistake. The same thing happens with reservations. We book a table in advance, arrive on time, and then find out the table was never properly recorded or prepared. It creates unnecessary waiting and frustration, especially when you planned ahead. Another issue is the restaurant layout and seating management. The restaurant has two levels, but upstairs often does not seem to be used properly. Instead, large groups are frequently seated downstairs by joining multiple tables together, which makes the whole downstairs area extremely noisy and crowded for everyone else trying to enjoy their meal. It would make much more sense to consistently seat larger groups upstairs where they would disturb other diners less. Not sure why that is not being done more often. The restaurant clearly has excellent food and strong potential, but they really need a better system for taking orders, managing reservations, and organising seating.Posted on Google S BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The food quality is very good, but their prices are above average compared to other Persian restaurants with the same quality. I would visit this restaurant more often, if the prices were around 10% cheaper. Thanks.
