We had dinner at Rica tonight and it was fantastic. The place was clean, the food was amazing, and the service was truly excellent. We really enjoyed everything and had such a great experience. I highly recommend Ricah Persian Cuisine near Pennant Hills Station! We ordered Mirza Ghasemi, Ricah Traditional Plate and leek soup. The kebabs are so tender and juicy, and the soup is amazing! Extremely disappointing experience and very unprofessional management.

We had arranged a post-wedding celebration for 50 guests, discussed all the details with Asghar Agha, the manager, and paid a deposit. We made it clear from the beginning that this was simply a family celebration, with no wedding ceremony, decorations, flowers, or anything elaborate.

Then, just two weeks before the event, Asghar Agha suddenly claimed we hadn’t informed him it was a post-wedding celebration and demanded an additional $40–$50 per person, despite everything having been discussed and agreed upon beforehand. Rather than honoring the agreement, he canceled our reservation, leaving us scrambling to find another venue for 50 people at the last minute. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate.

We’ve also had several previous experiences where he claimed the credit card machine wasn’t working and insisted on cash payments.

We certainly won’t be returning and would caution anyone considering booking an event here.
